Designing for your users, tackling social problems, measuring your impact, finding the right social business model, achieving financial sustainability, proving your SROI – running a social business is just as complicated as running a business, if not more.

The Social-Digital Incubator helps social entrepreneurs find the right tools while allowing them to experiment and make the most of their pre-existing knowledge.

How?

  • Meetups: Open, barcamp style workshops where problem & technology owners get together, pitch ideas and co-create solutions, engaging a large number of people and inspiring them to think about social entrepreneurship
  • Project Design Sprint Weekend: A 2-day event where selected teams return to develop 10-slide presentations they pitch and are judged upon at the end of the weekend. This is in cooperation with a number of mentors, experts and coaches providing input on:
    • Storytelling
    • User-Centered Design
    • Social Business Models
  • Incubator: An intensive, 3-month process of developing a limited number of projects, both the technology & social business side, with input allowing for autonomous work, based on personalized curricula, experts, mentors and support finding angel/impact investment or running a crowdfunding/crowd-donation campaign.
